JAKARTA, November 25, 2022 – On Monday, November 21, a 5.6-magnitude earthquake struck Cianjur district, West Java, Indonesia.

Heavy rainfall, power-cuts and landslides have also dampened search and rescue efforts.

Reports from the Indonesia National Agency for Disaster Countermeasure (BNPB) have confirmed at least 321 died, and 73,874 residents displaced.

In response, many parties have taken the initiative to participate in relief efforts by sending donations in various forms.

Similarly, CAS Group expressed its deep condolences for this disaster.  

Through its CAS Peduli program, CAS Group collaborated with PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia (JAPFA) and PT Suri Tani Pemuka (STP) to deliver donation to help the victims of the Cianjur earthquake. The donation delivered included 300 packages of ready-to-eat food from Yasaka Fried Chicken. 

Above all, CAS Group hopes that this donation can contribute to the recovery process.
